Withdrawal from an Individual Course(s) at Central Michigan
University |
 |
 |
-
Students should obtain a "Withdrawal Request Card" from
the Registrar's Office, Warriner 212, or the Student
Service Court, University Center 119, ask the
instructor to sign it, and return the card to either the
Registrar's Office or the Student Service Court. A
student has officially withdrawn from a class when the
Registrar's Office receives a properly completed card,
before the published deadline.
-
Students will receive a grade of "W" as an indicator of
withdrawal through the 10th week of the Fall or Spring
semester or through the midpoint of all courses shorter
than one semester. No course may be withdrawn from
after this time.
-
In cases involving academic dishonesty, withdraw is not
an option and the determination of the grade shall be left to the discretion of the instructor.
-
If an instructor refuses to sign a Withdrawal Card or is
not available to sign it, the student may appeal
informally to the department chairperson. This
policy does not supersede the Policy on Academic
Dishonesty.
-
Under unusual circumstances a student may appeal to the
Registrar's Office, Warriner 212, for exceptions to this
policy.

semester's withdrawal deadlines here. |
