This page contains the latest information regarding the Portal at Central Michigan University. The CMU Portal is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

What is Portal?

The CMU Portal serves as a secure, single sign-on location where CMU students, employees and alumni can check e-mail, register for courses, complete financial transactions and keep up-to-date on life at CMU!

Specific Registrar related functionality within the Portal includes:

• Addresses — view your address(es) and submit address and phone number changes. 
• Academic History — view and print your personal academic history (please note you will not be able to access your academic history if you have a hold). 
• Course Offerings — search for all courses offered during a particular term. This will also show number of seats still available. Searches can be done by section number, course number (e.g. ENG 101), or by subject area (e.g. ENG). Also, when searching by course or subject area, you may search for all courses in the category or only for those that are open. (Note: this function is available a couple weeks prior to Phase I registration through the end of the semester.  You may also use this function to register when registration is available.) 
• Grades — view and print your personal grade report for a term. 
• Personal Class Schedule — view and print your personal class schedule for a term.
• Registration — course registration and course adds and drops.  (Note: this function is only available from the beginning until the end of Phase I registration and from the beginning until the end of Phase II registration.) 

Financial information can also be accessed through the portal includes:

• Refund Checks —information regarding when financial aid will be disbursed and the dates refund checks will be mailed. 
• Student Accounts — online billing and payment/view your account
